Melissa A. Rupert

Melissa A. (Nicholson) Rupert, 51 of  Blairsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at her home.  She was born March 29, 1972 in Latrobe, PA.  She enjoyed camping, quad riding and mowing grass on her new tractor.  Melissa loved her dogs and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Melissa is survived by her parents, Ray &  Elizabeth (Salva) Nicholson, Derry, PA; husband, Keith F. Rupert, Blairsville, PA; son, Johnathan R. Norris & husband, Changtao Norris, Boston, MA; son, Hayden T. Norris & partner, Alexis Garris, Greensburg, PA; daughter, Meagan N. Lorson & husband, Lucas, Somerset, PA; grandchildren: Sophia, Axell, Jett and two more on the way; step-grandchildren: Jordan, Payton, Nathan, Ava, Lila and Cora; brother, Mark Nicholson & wife, Susie, Blairsville, PA and sister, Michele Knight & husband, Greg, Columbus, OH.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Monday, October 09, 2023 from 3-7 PM.  A funeral service will be held at 7 PM with Pastor Linda Corle officiating.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Action for Animals, PO Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650.
