Merle Mintmier

MINTMIER, MERLE, 73 OF NEW FLORENCE, PA

passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at his home.   He was born July 24, 1948 in Johnstown, PA, the son of the late William A. Mintmier and B.I. (Krouse) Mintmier.  Merle was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He retired from the coal mines.  Merle enjoyed raising bird dogs.  He is survived by his brother, James Mintmier, New Florence, PA; sister, Maryan Miles, Blairsville, PA; brother, Kenneth Mintmier & wife, Susan, New Florence, PA; sister, Cathy Bartley, New Florence, PA and also several Nieces & Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Mintmier.  In keeping with Merle's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA.
