Pamela A. Malek

Pamela A. (McGinity) Malek, 68 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at her home.  She was born October 31, 1956 in Latrobe, PA. She was a 1974 graduate of Blairsville High School.  Pam had run her own daycare and had formerly worked at Torrance State Hospital.  She was devoted to her faith and being a grandmother.  Pam enjoyed spending time with her family.  

She is survived by her mother, Lois (McAdoo) McGinity, Latrobe, PA; sister, Linda McGinity, Kecksburg, PA; sister, Kim Kinneer & husband, Brent, Rector, PA; grandchildren: Kaige, Kagoma & Petda; nephew, Cory McGinity & wife, Beth and niece, Codie Howard & Nick Smith.  She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McGinity; husband, Joseph D. Malek and son, Chad L. Calabrese.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held at 8 PM with Pastor Bob Penrose officiating.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Indiana County Humane Society, 191 Airport Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
