Richard Lee Shirley

SHIRLEY, RICHARD LEE, 66 OF HOMER CITY, PA

passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019  at Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, PA.  He was born November 4, 1952 in Latrobe, PA.  He was a retired construction worker.  Richard was a 30 year member of the Blairsville Eagles #1488.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, boating and attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events.  He is survived by his mother, Geraldine (Newhouse) Shirley; son, Danny Shirley & wife, Sherry, Black Lick, PA; daughter, Donna M. Shirley & husband, Christian Quarles, Homer City, PA; son, Rick Shirley & wife, Shari, Blairsville, PA; son, Travis Sterner, Homer City, PA; grandchildren: Angela Shirley, Ricky Shirley and Ryan Shirley; brother, Ronald Shirley & wife, Lisa, Homer City, PA; sister, Cindy Deyarmin & husband, Rich, Homer City, PA and several Nieces & Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Alvie Shirley; wife, Donna Lou Shirley in 2017 and brother, Alvie Shirley. In keeping with Richard's wishes, there will be no visitation.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
