Robert G. Mudge, Sr.

Robert G. Mudge, Sr., 72, of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at his home.  Bob was born on June 11, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late William Mudge, Sr. and Alice (Waldschmidt) Mudge.  Bob was a 1969 Perry High School graduate and had attended Connelly Vocational School upon graduating.  Bob, alongside his wife, was the owner of the former Touch of Class restaurant in Blairsville.  He also worked as a chef at Latrobe Country Club.  Bob was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan.  He enjoyed golfing, going to the casinos, vacations to the beach, listening to the Sunday polkas and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Patti (McInchok) Mudge, of Blairsville, PA; daughter, Kim Ferguson & husband, Sam, of Blairsville, PA; son, Robert G. Mudge, Jr. & wife, Reneah, of Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Emily, Madison, Alexis, Samantha & Riley; siblings: Alice Mudge & friend, Glynnis, of Emmaus, PA, Barbara Lineman, of Gibsonia, PA, Ronald Mudge & wife, Donna, of South Carolina and Debbie Mudge, of Pittsburgh, PA; brother-in-law, Skip McInchok and wife, Kay, of South Carolina; aunts: Joan Waldschmidt and Betty "Toots" Mulheren; good friend, Josh Ammon and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Mudge, Jr.

As per Bob's wishes, there will be no visitation, however, the family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717, on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 3PM to 6PM with a memorial service to follow at 6PM.  Pastor Dan Cunkleman will officiate.
