Robert "Bud" Glenn Palmer

PALMER, ROBERT "BUD" GLENN, 84 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, PA.  He was born July 30, 1938 in Indiana County, PA, the son of the late John Palmer and Bessie (Ewing) Palmer.
He belonged to the Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Blairsville.  Bud was a retired coal miner having worked for Consol Energy for 25 years.  He loved sports and was a good baseball and softball player.  

He is survived by his brother, John Palmer, Blairsville, PA; brother, Casey Palmer, Black Lick, PA; sister, Barbara Palmer, Latrobe, PA; several Nieces & Nephews and special friends, Thelma Cline & her daughter, Ashley.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Larry & Harry Palmer and sisters: Esther Rhoades, Ruth Ann Palmer & Shirley Little.

The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Dawn Krishart  will officiate.  Interment will be held in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.  Blairsville Military Honor Guard and the US Army will conduct graveside services Friday afternoon.
