Sally Ann (West) Carmo

CARMO, SALLY ANN (WEST), 91 OF BLAIRSVILLE, PA

passed away on Monday, July 04, 2022 at her home.  She was born  December 06, 1930 in Blairsville, PA, the daughter of the late James K. West and Helen (Grumbling) West.  She was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville.  Sally belonged to the Chestnut Ridge Golf Women's League and the Blairsville Women's Bridge Club.  Sally is survived by her son, David R. Carmo & wife, Leah, Lantana, FL; daughter, Pamela Carmo, West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren:  David A. Carmo, Lantana, FL, Hayley W. (Carmo) Sheldon, Lantana, FL,  Grace Gdaniec, Delray Beach, FL, Julian Gdaniec and Bailey Gdaniec, West Palm Beach, FL; and her great grandchildren:  Violet Sheldon & Willa Sheldon,  Lantana, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Angelino "Bunda" Carmo ; son, James Carmo; grandson, Adam Carmo and sister, Nancy Shumaker.  The family will receive friends at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6-8 PM.  Prayers of transfer will be held at 9:15 AM on Friday, in the Funeral Home, prior to a funeral mass in SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville at 10:00 AM.  Fr. Stephen R. Bugay  will officiate.  Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Friends of the Blairsville Communities, c/o Murphy Lot Committee, 130 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717.
