Sarah "Mamma" Bruno

Sarah "Mamma" Bruno, 72 of Black Lick, PA, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, PA. She was born August 5, 1952 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Domenick Bruno and Josephine Lohr.  In 1975 she started a business called Sarah's ceramics that was open for 21 years.  She liked Bingo and taking bus trips to Atlantic City and West Virginia to go gambling.  She was one of a kind who would make friends anywhere she went.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

She is survived by her one and only daughter, Gia Bruno, Black Lick, PA.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph and Domenick Bruno and her man she was with for many years, Anthony Esposito.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 2-6 PM.  A blessing service will be held at 6 PM with Fr. John Pavlik officiating.  Interment will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, Pennsylvania.
