Stanley P. Jakubowski

Stanley P. Jakubowski, Jr., 83 of Brenizer, PA, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA.  He was born January 29, 1943, in Brenizer, PA, the son of the late Stanley P. Jakubowski, Sr. and Josephine (Malek) Jakubowski.  He was a member of the SS Simon & Jude Church, Blairsville, PA.  Stanley worked at Torrance State Hospital as a Psychiatric Aide for 34 years.  He was a member of the Elks, Eagles and the former Italian Club all of Blairsville.  Stanley enjoyed playing baseball for the Blairsville Colts for many years, bowling and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Grace (Kennedy) Jakubowski; son, Richard Jakubowski & wife, Colleen, MA; grandchildren: Max & Jacey Jakubowski & Caleb Heiland; sister-in-law, Elaine Sorcan, Buckhannon, WV; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Shriver, Buckhannon, WV and also numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Tonya Marie Heiland.

The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 1-3 PM.  A blessing service will be held at 3 PM in the funeral home with Fr. Joseph Pham officiating.
