Tonya Marie Heiland

Tonya Marie Heiland, 52 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her home.  She was born November 7, 1971 in Latrobe, PA.  Tonya was a graduate of Derry High School and Pitt & Carlow Universities.  She was an administrative assistant for UCLA doctors.  Tonya loved the Steelers, Penguins, Houston Texans and loved baking.

She is survived by her parents, Stanley P. Jakubowski and Mary Grace (Kennedy) Jakubowski, Brenzier, PA; son, Caleb Heiland and his father Gunnar Heiland, Spring, TX; brother, Richard Jakubowski & wife, Colleen, Boston, MA; nephew, Max; niece, Jacey; aunts, Elaine Sorcan, Buckhannon, WV and Elizabeth Shriver, Buckhannon, WV and also many cousins.

In keeping with Tonya's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in Tonya's name to Action for Animals, PO Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650 or any animal shelter.
