Walter Thomas Jones

Walter Thomas Jones, 91 of Homer City, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his home.  He was born  December 6, 1932 in Blairsville, PA, the son of the late Ralph "Hap" Holland Jones and Leila M. (Muir) Jones.  He was a foreman & machinist for Belco.  He drove truck for many years and was a delivery driver for Diamond Drug.  He loved trains, train shows, traveling to see covered bridges, doing puzzles and his feline friend, Suzy.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery Lee Jones & wife, Betsy Morningstar, Homer City, PA; daughter, Julie Anne Jones-Smith & husband, Bob, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Gabriella Jones, Marayna Jones and Ashley Nicole Jones; great grandchild, Avery McNeal and his sister, Sara Jane Allen, Homer City, PA.  He was preceded in death by his parents;
wife, Martha Jane (Cain) Jones; sister, Della Parkins and brother, David Jones.

In keeping with Walter's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.  Interment will be held in the Armagh Cemetery, Armagh, Pennsylvania.
