William C. Asbury

ASBURY, WILLIAM C., 83 OF DELMONT, PA, FORMERLY OF STERLING, IL

passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, PA.  He was born September 10, 1938, in Sterling, IL, the son of the late William Asbury and Lorraine (McCain) Asbury.  Bill served in the US Navy.  He retired from Northwestern Steel & Wire as a Crane Mechanic Foreman.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judy (Reitzel) Asbury, Delmont, PA; daughter, Deb Powers, St. Louis, MO; daughter, Karen Morden, Carpentersville, IL; son, Richard Asbury, Aurora, CO; son, Brian Morel & wife, Angie, Bettendorf, IA; daughter, Nikki Short & husband, Randy, Latrobe, PA; grandchildren: Grant Powers & wife, Mary, Alex Powers & wife, Melissa,  Kyle Morden & wife Beth, Kurt Morden, Tyler Morel & wife, Melissa, Zach Morel, Lexi Morel and Megan Nolan & fiancé, Anthony Richter; great grandchildren, Drake & Quinn and also several Brothers & Sisters.  He was preceded in death by his parents, several Brothers & Sisters and his favorite dog, Whiskey.  In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
