William "Bill" Fish

FISH, WILLIAM "BILL", 72 OF GREENSBURG, PA

William "Bill" Fish of Greensburg age 72, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home.  He was born November 11, 1948 in Charleroi, PA, the son of the late James Fish and Ruth (Pierce) Fish of Belle Vernon, Pa.  He is survived by the sweetest, devoted wife of forty years, Rosemarie Rich Fish.  He is also survived by four lovely step children:  Vicki Calhoun and husband Gary, David Vallana, and wife Brenda, Sandra Zsembik and husband Steve, and Valerie Kehr and husband Harry.  He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, including the youngest grandchild, Stephen an adopted gift from God.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James F. Fish Jr.  Bill always felt accepted and loved by his stepfamily and for that, he is eternally grateful.  Bill earned a BA and Master’s degree in Social Work and retired as Director of the Westmoreland Welfare Office after 34 years.
He also honorably served in the US ARMY as a welder in the 429th Engineers. Ferguson Funeral Home in  Blairsville is handling all arrangements. No public service will be held.  Interment will be in St Clair Cemetery, Greensburg, PA.
